Dear Ross Erickson,
I am an Italian student in electrical engineering and I have been reading your beautiful magazine since number one.
It does look good on a color screen, don't it??
I have finally found the time to write you - I have to study hard to get my degree. If I am right, you have not yet published letters from Italian readers: I hope this is the good occasion for it!
Let's continue and find out...
I do not want to speak about the lack of a version of the magazine for OS/2 and/or Windows as lots of readers noticed it: I also say it would be very welcome.
All I can say is ... W
W
W (and no, I didn't stutter...) :-)
So let us talk about other things: Game Bytes 7 contains the first part of the "TALES OF FORGOTTEN ULTIMAS" by Jeremy Reimer, a good review of the Ultima Series. What about part two there promised to us in a future issue of Game Bytes?
Well, that's a good question for Mr. Reimer to answer....
Jeremy?? Jeremy, you there???? .....
JEREMY!!
...
{Jeremy Reimer has left the building.... Good night...}
I'm sorry, but until we can track down Jeremy, part two will have to wait.
As I have told, Game Bytes is, for me, one of the good and the first magazines in its genre: I would appreciate if you increased the number of the articles dedicated to games' hints and cheats - you could also include some binary in a zipped form.
Where we're headed, you'll get all the hints, tips, reviews, columns,
articles, previews, interviews, patches, strategies, walkthrus, upgrades,
and demos you can POSSIBLY imagine. Just remember... W
W
W..
BE THERE.
At present, issue #20 contains two sweets: "Definitive Doom" and, mostly, "Golden Oldies: Stunts" : I suggest you should continue publishing "old" games' reviews and, perhaps, starting the issue of a history of electronic games.
In a word, I have seen the growing of Game Bytes step by step: like a child that becomes a man, it should broaden its horizon by including articles (and, why not, binary files) about new subjects.
You are SO right. Now, in order to prevent Game Bytes from becoming a
15 MB FTP transfer to get all this stuff, I repeat myself....W
W
W!
I am sure you will continue your great work.
YOURS SINCERELY Luca Reggiani
Thank-you, Luca. I hope to be seeing you a lot more in the coming months.
