Jonathan Ah Kit's Firefox extensions

22 August 2006: This extension has effectively been superseded by the VUW Library's participation in the Google Scholar Library Links programme. Go to your Google Scholar preferences page to select the VUW Library as one of your (up to three) full text link providers.

30 July 2006: Another reason not to use this extension is that the VUW Library have finished (or are about to finish) changing link resolver providers.

Not being actively maintained! If you're after the GoogleScholarOpenURL (VUW) extension for Mozilla Firefox 1.0, it's currently not being maintained. I'm doing postgraduate studies now, and currently don't have time to debug the extension to take into account the current markup used in Google Scholar's code. Sorry. If you're keen to help, then please drop me a line at jonathan@metalab.unc.edu -- I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks!

Tēnā koe! There is only one extension sitting around here at the moment. It's only of use if you are in (legal) possession of a Victoria University of Wellington network account. It's an extension to use LinkFinderPlus off Google Scholar. Download it, or with some luck, install the damn thing.

Terms of use are simple: as is, where is, if it ruins anything of yours, I don't want to know. Useful and constructive bug reports, however, are welcome.

The extension is fine but has trouble in that the link resolver itself -- and not the extension -- isn't so great, but does find the odd journal article.

This extension is a reworking of Peter Binkley's extension. Don't try to install both at the same time -- this may be unsafe to try.
