Our Solar System is part of the Milky Way galaxy. The Milky Way has a diameter of around 90.000 light-years. The Solar System is around 25.000 light-years away from the center of the Milky Way and 20.000 light-years away from its edge.
When we look toward the center of the Milky Way, the light we see today is 5 times older than the pyramids in Gise.

Constellation Sagittarius:

The center of the Milky Way is in the constellation Sagittarius.
It is the object Sagittarius Alpha (encircled).
A black hole is supposed to be in the area of Sagittarius Alpha because a very high concentration of mass has been detected in that relative small space.
