Synopsis

Federico Luisetti studied in Italy and the United States. He taught at the University of Torino before coming to UNC in 2005. He offers courses on literary and cultural theory, film studies, Italian prose, and the Avant-gardes. He has written on modern encyclopedism, visual and cultural studies, literary theory, aesthetics, and modern Italian literature.

Current Projects

Dr. Luisetti is currently writing a book on Henri Bergson’s epistemology, exploring the background of machine aesthetics and post-structuralism.
