200+ Folk Songs for download/play at Roger McGuinn’s Folk Den

Roger McGuinn's Folk Den

It seems like only yesterday that we were downloading the cowboy song “Old Paint” from Roger McGuinn’s new (then) Folk Den project. But that was November 1st, 1995!

The Folk Den has just passed the 200 free songs for download/play mark with the drinking song from Olde England, circa 1594, “When Jones’ Ale Was New” on June 1, 2012.

McGuinn, founder of the Byrds and a major player on Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue, personally curates the Folk Den and performs, records and distributes a new/old song each month.

Explore and enjoy American musical roots with Roger at The Folk Den.

You can subscribe to the Folk Den RSS feed and receive a new song in the RSS reader of your choice each month, here.
