FOI and urban public library professionals -Case example: City of Boston public library department professionals

City of Boston public library professional staff association
has represented grievances, organized social occasions and
published The Real Sheet newsletters for generations
http://www.bpl.org/WWW/affiliates/affiliates.html

How ironic for public library professionals to use BPLPSA to
resist public library users attempting to access
legitimately public information.

BPLPSA could be using the same state FOI freedom of
information open government and open public meeting sunshine
intellectual freedom principles to obtain more information
regarding grievances from recalcitrant public officials

Are members' support and the association's financial
resources squandered when BPLPSA is used to deny or delay
public library users access to legitimately public
information?...
