Re: microfilm destruction



Value depends on the market  -- and we're a long way from the days when the
Hunt brothers tried to corner the silver market.
Many public archives are required by law to hold and recycle silver bearing
materials, wether  mf or film or still photos since silver is considered a
heavy metal.  My agency is holding a 100+ pounds of silver bearing material
waiting for the market to get to a point where we don't lose money recycling
it.
