Imaging Technology Project Research Publication

Technical Library Information Management Professionals,

Projects involving digital records image database design,
and physical records to digital conversion processes are
becoming increasingly dependent upon the skills of
professional information managers and their staff by virtue
of the fact that production capture and processing capabilities
are emerging as in-house functions.

This requirement demands that information managers
(and the administrative and managerial professionals
they support) are aware and knowledgeable of the
specialized core competencies necessary for the
success of business and government imaging projects
done in-house and/or accomplished via an imaging
service bureau outsourcing relationship.

We have created a special access area to a full section of the
research content, which enables readers to experience
the utility and benefits of this technical research tool. This
publication provides a comprehensive research resource
and structure for decision makers to qualify and quantify
the project resources and risks associated with these
complex and often very costly projects. This information
can be found at:
http://www.imagingprofessional.com/ls_research.html

We have also made our directories of available technology
OEMs and imaging service bureaus freely accessible
online for conducting one of many required phases of
imaging technology project research: the identification and
qualification of available technologies and production
imaging capabilities. This resource is accessible at:
http://www.imagingprofessional.com/techlib.html
