Re: "permanent loan" vs "gift"
What happens in twenty or more years when the descendents of the family
come to reclaim those records that have taken up some much space and time,
and that YOUR institution paid to arrrange, describe, and make available.
----------------
It seems that most reponses of this nature are confusing a "loan" or
"on loan" with a "permanent loan." There is a difference of day and noght.
Permanent means just that. It can NOT be retrieved by anyone if properly
drawn up as long as the institution it is permanently loaned to still exists.
