PDF copyright

Dear List:

I know that there has been a lot of movement on electronic document front
lately, and my question relates to that. I'm going to start offering
documents for download in PDF on-line, but of course I need to settle all
copyright issues before doing so. Does offering such documents exceed "fair
use" (which I assume it does), or do recent copyright examinations permit
such use on-line?
Just curious if others have dealt with this question and come to any
conclusions.

As always, your input is greatly appreciated.

Neil
