ASSISTANT ARCHIVIST, NORTHWEST OHIO RECORDS ALLIANCE

Center for Archival Collections/Libraries and Learning Resources


Assists the Director in the management, acquisition, and maintenance of
local public records in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.  Actively
meets with County and Municipal Records Commissions in accordance with
state law regarding the management of local Ohio public records.
QUALIFICATIONS:  Master's degree in American History, Archives Management,
Library Science or a related field.  Valid Ohio driver's license.  Skill in
Archival/Informational Management; experience in working with archival
collections, donor relations and public officials.  Working knowledge of
archival and records management, principles, and techniques.  Possesses a
documented ability to communicate orally and in writing, knowledge of
micrographics and computer hardware/software, and demonstrates ability to
apply this knowldege to applicable problems/issues. Knowledge of the Ohio
Revised Code.  Ability to work independently.  Full-time grant funded
administrative staff position at grade level 14, minimum salary $36,795,
commensurate with education and experience.  Full benefit package available
including tuition fee waiver.
