Hot and fresh off of the conveyor belt they are to die for. Recently
Richmond's Krispy Kreme store was shut down while they built a new one. They
trucked boxes of donuts in from DC to satisfy customers. When they new
opened people were lined up around the block. I well remember my college
days in Nashville when we would hit the KK at 2 a.m. in the morning for
fresh donuts, coffee or milk. They only thing that comes close to a KK were
Lone Star donuts in Dallas.
So count your lucky stars that Denver has a store. Also was one of the more
rock-solid IPOs last year. Opened at around $15 per share eventually hitting
over $100 per share before the market tanked. Now trades at around $35.
