Re: Fizzies and Bosco
>Actually, when I was a kid, it was considered cool/tough to chew the
fizzies. At times the results could be spectacular.
I distinctly recall an incident from my 11th summer, at a community
swimming pool, when I put a red Fizzies tablet in my mouth, sank to the
bottom of the pool, and let 'er rip. As spectacular as my friends thought
the effect, I mostly remember the expression on the lifeguard's face.
It was, of course, my last visit to the pool that summer.
My brother once ground a few tablets into the family sugar bowl. The
effect is marvelous when the stuff is sprinkled on your father's wheatina
at six in the morning.
