Familiar Face gets Lost

We’ve been watching one of the better new shows on TV, Lost (Wednesdays at 8PM on ABC). Lost is a horror/adventure series from the creator of Alias (and Felicity, but, hey, don’t hold that travesty against him). One of the writers on staff is David Fury, who wrote for Angel and Buffy. Though it’s not comedy, it’s serious-chops drama, and it’s good. Worth watching good.

And tonight it got a good-sized slice better. The cast already sported a once-was or two — namely the guy who played older brother Charlie on the tween soap opera Party of Five. But there’s also Harold Perrineau Jr. (from Romeo and Juliet and the Matrix) and Daniel Dae Kim (from lots of places).

This evening’s pleasing addition was the rarely-seen (in American movies, anyways) Mira Furlan. She played Delenn of the Minbari Grey Council on the SciFi series (and geeky cult classic) strong>Babylon 5. Yay, Minbari in the jungle. Crazy Minbari.
