Waiting for kittens

I’m lucky enough to have a large group of friends who are very much family. Every weekend we tend to collect at each others’ houses. We play Dungeons and Dragons (or some other RPG), we bake bread or make dinner or order pizza. We go to the movies or roller skating. We chat about our jobs and know each others’ pets. We know almost everything about one other, past and present. We offer each other advice, encouragement, support, or celebration.
Just a few weeks ago, we were all very sad when a beloved four-legged member of our group passed away. But as these things are, sometimes a bad thing turns the wheel to start a good thing, and this past weekend we saw that come to pass.
Please welcome Vladimir (Didi) and Estragon (Gogo) McManlypants. Their dual cuteness is considerable–strong enough to keep J from a game of DnD, which is akin to scrubbing the blue off a smurf. Didn’t think it could be done.
Boys, you’re in for a wild ride. Welcome to the family.

Wow, your pictures are awesome, as are Kat’s. Wow. Such great pictures - thank you for posting them!
They’re already bigger than when you met them, by the way. They are growing like crazy.

Awwwww.
I will have to visit again soon, lest too much cuteness happen and I miss it all!
And thanks–for the kind words.
