Gigantic family day, revisited

Weirdly enough, amongst all the spam and junk that gets tossed into the comments bin, I do manage to occasionally pick out real people, saying what appear to be real things, about something I’ve written. Sure enough, 99% of the time, they’re people I know. Which is, of course, awesome, but I generally have an idea what they think.

The few random commenters I get? Are all on one article. Got a pair in April and one more today. Woo! Three!

Maybe one day there will be an actual entire discussion with these random folks. Now that’s crazy-talk.

Anyway, the topic that brings out the new and unknown peeps? The Duggars Family. Of course.

Can I just tell you, internet, how much it pleases me that random people want to talk about the sport of extreme childbearing? It’s just THAT awesome.

What about the people who only rarely comment on your blog, but whom you know anyway? Admittedly, that’s not so amazing, but it does prove the existence of a middle ground that is both infrequent and non-random.

p.s. The phrase “extreme childbearing” nearly made me lose my salsa.
