Blacklight 0.1 source released!
Oh boy, it has been a long time coming, but last night I finally pushed a 0.1 (very alpha) release of Blacklight out the door. You can download it from http://rubyforge.org/projects/blacklight/. We’ll be setting up an open svn repository on ruby forge, too, but I haven’t got to that yet. I think we have it working pretty well to be able to download and run. Download it, unpack it, and read the README, which contains instructions for getting you started. I also included with it a small data set for testing, and of course you can point it at your own marc records, too.
If you’re interested in OPAC replacements and you want to try one written in ruby on rails, try blacklight.
