Re. Mark's query on epignwsis:
There are 20 occurences of epignwsis, _including_ Heb. 10:26--
Rom. 1:28 ; Rom. 3:20 ; Rom. 10:2 ; Eph. 1:17 ; Eph. 4:13 ; Phil. 1:9 ;
Col. 1:9 ; Col. 1:10 ; Col. 2:2 ; Col. 3:10 ; 1Tim. 2:4 ; 2Tim. 2:25 ; 2Tim.
3:7 ; Titus 1:1 ; Philem. 1:6 ; Heb. 10:26 ; 2Pet. 1:2 ; 2Pet. 1:3 ; 2Pet.
1:8 ; 2Pet. 2:20
There is no textual variant listed for epignwsis in Heb. 10:26 in the NA27
apparatus. That prob. means that whatever the source of your statistics
that they had a variant in another verse. If you were using Englishman's
Greek Concordance remember that it is based on the old "TR" text. There
may be a variant there, but I don't have immediate access to Englishman's
to see. (The list above if from acCordance which uses the UBS3/4, NA26/27
