Recommendations for a good Greek dictionary
I am looking for a Greek dictionary that is more than the standard lexicon form of the word. I want to see it all: For example, if I click on the strong's number for ἡμᾶς in my software it will give me the definition for εγο. If I click on the Greek word itself to pull up the morphology, I still onl...

Renewal seems like an action, i.e. process. I guess I just need to think about this more:)

Text Comparison. - Same/Similar English Words - Two Greek Words - One a Noun - One a Verb
I have been meditating on a couple of similar passages in the NT. Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal (ἀνακαινώσει) of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Eph 4:23 and to be renewed ...

Re: Which Bible Study Software?
What Bible Study software do you use? I once used Gramcord extensively, but I haven't been able to use it since I switched to Linux. And I've been missing it ever since. It's been a long time - is Gramcord still widely used? I currently do morphological searches the hard way, using XQuery and a mor...

Re: Policy: Unicode and Transliteration
Please write Greek in Unicode if you can. It's easier to read, and will show up properly in Internet search engines. You can copy text from the New Testament from many sites online. But this is not a requirement. If it's hard for you to use Unicode, use whatever transliteration you want, as long as...

Re: Active Voice
Thanks. I'm in the nouns right now in the latest course, though I have skipped ahead watching his videos from the previous version of "Greek for Everyone Else". I will make sure to include the Greek text next time. I wasn't thinking! Basically, I am hearing from your answer that "we&q...

Re: Best online Septuagint?
This may seem like an ignorant question, but when I look up a passage in this LXX it doesn't seem to match the chapter-verse(s) of other translations or even the BHS (which I also recently purchased with morphological tagging). I am late to the game here and the question has been answered well. How...
