Re: Interacting with a text without verse numbers marked
I'm not sure about other software or websites, but with Logos it's fairly easy to copy and paste the text without verse numbers. I do it all the time for my own use. I too prefer not seeing verse or chapter numbers. I have also led a Bible study using such a text (in English).

information about graduate schools
Please message me privately if you have an opinion. I'm considering graduate schools, and I'm trying to find out what good options for me are. If you have been to graduate school in the last 10 years (for study of Greek and/or New Testament and/or Biblical Studies and/or Classics and/or Theology), a...

Re: Vocabulary to the Gospel of John
Well, if your system has the requirements, I recommend installing Logos 4, which you can download for free at https://www.logos.com/support/logos4/install. What you are asking is really easy to do with Logos 4. I just created a new word list and then added John 1 from the NA27 (or whatever Greek ver...

Intertestamental History and Sources
This is not about Biblical Greek per se, but I'm hoping that it will lead to interest in Biblical Greek. IMy wife and I are planning a short course for my church on the intertestamental period and how it connects to the New Testament. Ideally, this will provoke some interest in some people towards l...

Re: Beginner greek/english interlinear?
This is an interlinear. Underneath each Greek word is an English "equivalent." It is not really a translation per se. "Inter" = inside/in-between, "linear" = the lines, interlinear = "in-between the lines." Basically.

Re: Beginner greek/english interlinear?
This is a parallel edition. Instead of words underneath other words, there is one language/version on one side and a different language/version on the other. Some editions of the Bible have as many as 4 or 6 (the Hexapla is a famous one).

Re: Determining Which Version a Greek Text Belongs
Another option would be to use Bible software that has several different versions and do a search for that text. But I'm not sure how much text you can search for.
