Imperfect of διεστέλλετο
Hello:
I am reading Mounce's online Teknia blog entry regarding chapter(21) regarding the Imperfect Indicative.
In this post on aktionsart, he mentions the greek word διεστέλλετο.
I am not understanding where the augment is found in this word.
Is this a compound verb?

Third Declension πατρός
Hello: I am studying a Greek grammar and the third declension. I am curious about the nuances of the third declension noun πατηρ. The genitive singular form of this word is πατρος.
