Two-termination Adjective in Tit 2,5?
Dear Friends, when we accept the NA reading in Tit 2,5 (OIKOURGOUS), then Paul builded a neologism. Which parts could be seperated and what are the roots of the compound word: OIK- (house) is clear, but what is -OURGOS? Re: Default word order in Greek
Yes, that's my impression as well. If one doesn't accept a default word order, it's not possible to catch marked position (e.g. left dislocations, casus pendens) and draw pragmatic conclusions. The same in Hebrew, where Moshavi proved the default VSO order as well.

Default word order in Greek
Dear Friends of Greek,
is there a consensus that the Default word order in Greek is verb-subject-object (direct-indirect) ?
This question is important - I think - because all deviation from that order would indicate a special meaning (e.g. emphasis).
Thank you for any comments

Re: Apocalypsis apocrypha Joannis 13.12
Dear Jason, oh, yes, thank you ! I tend to forget word forms that occur not that often. Yes, I can give you the context of this sentence: 13 ἀροῦσιν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς πᾶν ἔνδοξον καὶ πᾶν τίμιον, καὶ τὰς σεπτὰς καὶ ἁγίας εἰκόνας, καὶ τοὺς ἐνδόξους καὶ τιμίους σταυρούς, καὶ τὰ ἱερὰ τῶν ἐκκλησιῶν, καὶ τὰς θε...

Apocalypsis apocrypha Joannis 13.12
Dear Friends, In this passage it reads: ὁ ἀπόστολος Παῦλος· ἅμα σὺν αὐτοῖς ἁρπαγησόμεθα ἐν νεφέλαις εἰς ἀπάντησιν τοῦ κυρίου εἰς ἀέρα. καὶ τότε ἐξέλθῃ πᾶν πνεῦμα πονηρόν, τὰ ἐν τῇ γῇ, τὰ ἐν τῇ ἀβύσσῳ, ὅπου ἐάν εἰσιν ἐπὶ προσώπου πάσης τῆς γῆς ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου μέχρι δυσμῶν, καὶ κολληθήσονται πρὸς τ...
