Re: Galatians again - with collaborative annotation?
I just signed up on that site. It looks very interesting. I think I'll start using it to annotate Hebrew resources that I teach from. Thanks! I think that using it for a Greek reading group is a great idea. There are two competitors, genius.com and pund.it. I am also playing with pund.it. (For my p...

Re: διαβάλλειν - diaballein
διαβάλλειν (dia-ballein) Dia means through (by the way of; or from one end or side of something to the other (across); or between) and Ballein means throwing. Now online there are two discriptions that i found most often to describe the meaning of this word: throwing across; slander, accusing to ca...

Re: GlossaHouse Greek Resources
Hi, Fred. I see you work on that site with Michael Halcomb. It looks like there are a lot of resources there. Very impressive. I'm interested in the volume on Barnabas and the Didache. Could you post an image of a typical page so that we can get an idea of the typesetting and page layout? I'm consid...

Re: Question on famous quote
The following phrase is supposed to be the famous Socrates statement: The unexamined life is not worth living. ο δ ανεζεταστος βιος ου βιωτος ανθρωποι However, I am not sure how ανθρωποι fits into this. Is this the correct Classical Greek for this famous phrase? If so, can you give me a "liter...

Re: Accute or Grave accent?
The question would apply to any word/text, though in this instance it's with regard to the word huion in Rev 12:5. If I'm writing out the entire verse ( kai eteken huion arsen etc.) then the accent over the omicron in huion is a grave ( ` ). But what if for my purposes I only want to refer to the w...
