It other words, it seems that we should be asking πηλικὸς εἶ; how old are you? and responding with ἐτῶν Χ εἰμί I am of x years. That πηλίκος (note the accent) seems to be a conglomerant, along the lines of adding a "wh-" to the the front and number-case ending at the end of the of ἡλικ-ία...

On this age of houses making minor tweaks to the textbooks they publish, calling it a new edition to boost sales, I applaud Eerdman's idea of reprinting the older volume, while at the same time giving supplementary material in .pdf format. Even the originally purchased edition increases in value.

The case and the time-frame allows that this may be the medieval word ἔξοδον, τὸ, meaning "expense", the money that is required or desired to be paid on something.
