αὐτός, Δέσποτα = "you, Lord"?

Re: Verb catalog - lexical aspect
OK, I'm going to rush in where angels fear to tread. Here are some verbs, along with Vendler's categories. Here's my best guess at how to categorize them. I called Stephen Carlson after doing my first take, and he helped me fix a few, and we also decided to merge achievements and accomplishments, si...

Two questions here. 1. What is the force of κα...

Re: GreekLexicon.org -- a free, online Greek lexical resourc
You can easily download Dodson's lexicon in PDF from the links on Ulrik's site. It looks like this: 428 ἀνεύθετος, ον Adj unsuitable, inconvenient 429 ἀνευρίσκω v. Re: GreekLexicon.org -- a free, online Greek lexical resourc
After a long hiatus of about four-five years, I am back on B-Greek. In the meantime, I've gotten married, had three kids, and earned my PhD :-). Excuses, excuses ;-> Seriously, congratulations on all of the above, and welcome back! I'd like to announce a free online resource: http://greeklexicon.or...

Re: Kai
...In the case of Rev 14:6-9, the syntax indicates that it asserts all three statements to be true: "I saw [a] messenger ...", "another second messenger followed ..." and "another messenger, [a] third, followed them ...". Hope this helps! Thank you, but I'm more intere...

Verb catalog - lexical aspect
I could really, really use a verb catalog that gives the lexical aspect for Greek verbs. Even a catalog for the most common 30 verbs would be extremely helpful, I could use it to search for examples to verify various claims that I read. I think Fanning has such a catalog, and Rijksbaron (1989) proba...
