δεῖ and researching words

Apparently δεῖ only found in the LXX and the GNT in present and imperfect tense-forms. Although it is found one time in the NT in the future form. However, my accordance search in my limited library tells me it is used three times in the aorist form in Philo.

I know the GNT/LXX is not that large, but it seems a little odd to me that it would never be used in an aorist sense. Is there an alternate word that might have been used? Whats the next step if one was wanting to research this further outside of my limited accordance library.
