Here's an example with δέ joining not clauses but two participles under the scope of an article:
1 Pet 2:10 wrote:οἵ ποτε οὐ λαὸς νῦν δὲ λαὸς θεοῦ, οἱ οὐκ ἠλεημένοι νῦν δὲ ἐλεηθέντες.

P.S. I finally broke down and bought my own copy of Denniston's ....
ἐξίσταντο δὲ πάντες καὶ διηποροῦντο, ἄλλος πρὸς ἄλλον λέγοντες, τί θέλει τοῦτο εἶναι;

I assume you know that Runge's Discourse Grammar has a section which explains a number of the conjunctions (including μεν/δε)?
