Tyndale Conference: Linguistics and the Greek Verb!

Post by Jonathan Robie »

This conference on Linguistics and the Greek Verb looks very promising.

10-11 July, in Cambridge.

Proceedings! Proceedings! Proceedings! Please!

EDIT: I was too quick - a quote: "

If you want to attend but are unable, don’t worry! There will be an edited volume coming out of the conference that will publish the proceedings (plus a couple of extra papers!)." I hope it will be relatively cheap.

Perhaps having a live webcast or even a humble you-tube posting is against the tradition of scholarly gatherings. We get everything else that way. The vast majority of people who might take an interest in this will not be able to "be there."

In my experience, papers are usually best read than heard. The main additional benefit of a conference is the post-session interaction with the participants and attendees.
