Audio of the entire Gospel of Mark in Living Koine Greek pronunciation

Post by Benjamin Kantor »

I have just finished and uploaded to my website an audio recording of the entire Gospel of Mark in the Living Koine pronunciation used by BLC, etc. (i.e., basically historical Koine with the exception that we pronounce the aspirated stops as fricatives, which means it is basically authentic Koine pronunciation with a few places where the consonants are pronounced as they were during the Byzantine period).

You can find the recording here:

Hope you enjoy it!

Hey Benjamin, it would be great if you can make that one available for download like you have with the Gospel of Luke.
Loving listening to them, struggling mightily to move from Erasmian in pronunciation at the moment, but great to have something to measure myself against
