Interesting, because I just had upgraded from OS X 10.11 to 10.12 before trying it in Safari (about 2 days earlier). Are you both using Safari for Mac, or for Windows? Anyway, in Safari I get an error message that it can't load the viewer.
I'm using Safari for Mac.

Seems strange. Not that I mind using it in Firefox. I like FF fine. Any ideas for a workaround? Or are you using an update past 10.12?

Congrats, that certainly is a vast improvement.

With old Perseus, you can bring up English translations (if available) and do a create your own Loeb edition thing. I wanted to do that with a text of Plato but couldn't see how. Probably something obvious that I'm missing?

Did you see the "add parallel version" control in the upper left-hand corner, near the title?
If you select it, you can pick a parallel version to be displayed and you will have parallel texts.

No, I didn't see that, but I was right. It's something obvious that I was missing...

Good news! After updating to Mac OS X 10.12.6, Safari now runs the Scaife Viewer correctly. Will have to check out the parallel text function you mentioned. Do you know if it can do a Greek-Latin parallel where the text exists in both languages?
