Alex Poulos

Post by mapoulos »

χαιρετε ω φιλοι,
I'm currently entering my senior year at NC State University. I'm a Computer Science student, though I plan to pursue doctoral work in Religious Studies (hopefully Patristics). I've been an autodidact for much of my life, and the same has been true for Greek. I started working through Mounce on my own about a year and a half ago. I love reading the New Testament of course, but I also like reading from the Church Fathers. Chrysostom is a favorite thus far, as is Nazianzus. I've become more interested in textual scholarship and paleography as of late (through a seminar I did at university), and I'd love to publish texts and translations of Patristic texts in the future. I'm currently planning to do an MTS at Duke, and then hopefully do doctoral work in Europe, though all of that is quite tentative right now.

εν τω Κυριω,
Αλεξανδρος

Welcome! I used to work for Red Hat, and had an office on Centennial Campus - I live in Durham.
