What are the various nuances of the words used of "keeping (to)" a tradition?

κατέχειν - (1 Corinthians 11:2)
κρατεῖν - (Mark 7:3,8; 2 Thessalonians 2:15)
στῆναι - (Mark 7:9 UBS-NA)
τηρεῖν - (Mark 7:9 Byz.)

Am I right in thinking that this is a significant, rather than simply a conventional collocation here? That is to ask whether the Apostle deliberately used the word for some identifiable purpose.

κατέχειν - (1 Corinthians 11:2) = "occupy" "have them as your own (property)"
κρατεῖν - (Mark 7:3,8; 2 Thessalonians 2:15) = "keep" (in the sense of "keep in hand" / "hold"
στῆναι - (Mark 7:9 UBS-NA) = "stand by them"
τηρεῖν - (Mark 7:9 Byz.) = "keep" (in the sense of "follow and obey"
