Intro -- Roy Chan

Post by Roy Chan »

Greetings. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Roy Chan. I am a medical writer by profession and I worship at an Pentacostal church in Singapore. Outside of work and layministry at church, I endeavor to learn Koine Greek using Mounce’s material (book & DVDs). However, my progress has been impeded lately, as I have been working my way through watching Daniel Wallace’s course on Textual Criticism (produced by Credo House), and am happy that I have almost completed the series of videos. I also do spend a lot of time reading the Apostolic Fathers, and I can see that the ‘Church Fathers and Patristic Greek Texts’ section of this forum would likely be a favourite haunt of mine. Nonetheless, I’m just delighted to have discovered this forum through a posting on a Facebook group that I had joined. I think this group will be a major resource for me in speeding up my learning of Koine Greek.
