Frequency Lists

Post by Barry Hofstetter » July 24th, 2019, 9:29 am

I just discovered the Perseus (Tuft's University) word frequency generator for ancient Greek authors. I can see people making good use of this:

Barry, do you know if the generator can do phrasal searches, e.g., for idioms?

As far as I can see, it only does word frequency, in itself valuable if you are studying particular authors or works, or if as a teacher you want to generate such lists for your students.

Oh well. Maybe in the next update. Meanwhile, it will still be useful.
