Would you perhaps prefer "using the words (LOGOI)"? I think that's what
LEGW really means. I think Aristotle draws a distinction between prose and
poetry by calling the latter LOGOS EMMETROS or something like that. I think
the problem here is wanting the Greek to make the same distinction which
English makes clearly.
