Thee's only one problem with all this: Mk 9:24 does NOT contain the word
KURIE [ vocative of KURIOS ] -- at least not as far as the critical
apparatus of either N/A 27 or UBS 3 is concerned.
The KJV also includes the phrase "with tears", which is omitted iin the
modern text of the Greek ( as well as in both the RSV and the NRSV ) but
which has multiple attestations in the critical apparatus of both editions
mentioned, where the main division is between those that place it _before_
"the father" and _after_.
The Vulgate does include " cum lacrimis" but not 'Domine".
Perhaps someone on the list can trace the use of 'Lord' in this verse in
the KJV?

Maurice
