This is a most helpful statement. The idea conveyed to me is that the
action itself my be of one nature or another depending upon the verb or
other markers, but the aorist simply relays it as a snapshot. Correct?
In this case I need to look elsewhere in the structure of the sentence for a
more complete understanding of the event in its original context, and this
is not always conveyed by the use of the aorist in and of itself.
