Martin,

Textual issues, IMHO, should be decided on a verse by verse, reading by
reading basis. There are no good or bad manuscripts, only good and bad readings.

One who blindly accepts any of the critical editions (NA27, Farstad & Hodges,
etc.) is just missing out on a great deal of useful information. 

As Carl has pointed out, this is a discussion for a different list.
