Dear Maranatha,
Well yes: Brenton's is "old". But not as old as the Textus Receptus!
The LXX dates from about 300-280 BC; Brenton published his edition in
1851 (Bagster's), so it's quite new! 8-)
I use Brenton; and it's available in print (Hendrikson Publishers, PO Box
3473, Peabody MA; 2nd printing, 1987).
Whichever edition you use, you'll find that the LXX does not always
correspond to the Biblia Hebraica, especially in Jeremiah! See if you
can find an edition which employs the "Universal Numbering System", if
available. It may only be available with electronic texts from the WWW.
