{Carl}
In my own experience it is not only unusual and unexpected but utterly
unthinkable that an intransitive verb like EIMI should have a direct object
or that a direct object should have the sense of "in."

{Bill}
Would this be an example of EIMI taking a direct object?

KAQWS AXION ESTIN - 2 Thess 1:3

Is EIMI acting transitively in Eph 2:8:

ESTE SESWiSMENOI

I have not heard back from you about examples of the evolving form of ESTE
SESWiMENOI elsewhere in the NT? Should I expect to find any?

Thanks.
