Punctuation in the Greek

Hi Steven
Yes, there are cases where the lack of punctuation does cause confusion -
take for an example when an adverb comes between two verbs. Adverbs do not
inflect in Greek so which verb do you attribute the adverb to? There are
some word order "rules", but a reader/speaker would (probably) provide
clarity by a pause, and English by punctuation such as a comma. And so on.
But no language can avoid confusion and ambiguity at some point and Greek is
more exact than most.
One useful standard work is B Metzger Text of the New Testament : Its
Transmission, Corruption, and Restoration $22.95 ISBN: 0195072979
Best regards
Steven
