I have in my possession a strange little text. EVANGELIA QUATTUOR. I do not
know Latin but I take it that this means the Four Gospels. Under the title
is a name (I think) SEXTUS COLOMBO. It is a Greek-Latin text, with Greek on
the left, and Latin on the right. The title page, Prefix?? (called the
ANIMADVERTENDA) and what looks like a dedication (MONITUM) is in Latin. It
looks like it came out in 1932.
In the genealogy of Christ in Matthew 1 it follows the regular pattern of

-x- DE EGENNHSE TOV -y-

but in Matt. 1:12-13 the pattern is altered to

IEXONIAS GENNAI TON SELAQIHL,
SELAQIHL DE GENNAI TON ZOROBABEL
ZOROBABEL DE GENNAI ABIOUD

Then the original pattern resumes. This is differs from any other text I
have. I have two questions.
1. What Greek text is this?
2. Would there be any significance to this change in pattern?
