hON TROPON is equivalent to KAQWS; it is a shorthand version of TON TROPON
hON, "in the manner in which." It is ADVERBIAL accusative; the accusative
is the adverbial case par excellence, and no small number of the adverbial
expressions that came to be standard in Greek originated as accusative
nouns or phrases in the accusative.
