I'll argue for taking the aorist participles, not as antecedent action
to the action of the main verb ESFRAGISQHTE, but as simultaneous
to it and parallel to each other temporally.
Then I'd take TO EUAGGELION THS SWTHRIAS hUMWN as epexegetical
to TON LOGON THS ALHQEIAS.
Finally, I'll take the second EN hWi as resumptive of the first EN hWi.
This results in the following: in whom also when you heard the word
of truth, that is, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also when you
believed, you were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise.
