Am I missing something here, like another reading?  I do not have a 
critical text for the LXX.   My copy reads:

Prov 30:4 (LXX)...... TI ONOMA AUTW H TI ONOMA TEKNOIS

That is not a nominative plural but it is a dative plural though, plus a 
different term.  But I would guess that Jim's explanation still works.
