Chiasmus: Methodology

The following is taken from John Breck's "The Shape of Biblical 
Language" out of appendix I, where it is followed by an example.

Literary [read literal], [vs thematic] chiasms should, imho, be proper 
b-greek stuff, because they offer a syntactic and grammatic approach 
that is otherwise not available. The thematic ones, which cover 
interpretation of whole texts or huge portions thereof, [or the whole 
Bible, for that matter] are probably best left to another forum.
