I think you'll find Hebrew is the source you're looking for - Ecclesiastes 1v9,
orignial form in translation: 'there is nothing new under the sun', that is unless
you've heard that there is a greek saying underlying Ecclesiastes (given scholarly
consensus of 2nd century dating)
