I'm looking forward to the publication of this work, although it seems to
me that it could be a little less literal than it is apparently going to
be. While I realize that a balance must be struck between absolute
literalism and the underlying meaning of the text, I have always
preferred literal translations which, as much as reasonably possible,
leave interpretation up to the reader. I prefer my commentary in
commentaries, not in the translation.
