the above is the one i find most useful for NT because of the detailed
sytlistic comments in volume 3 and 4 and continual comparisons between
secular greek and jewish greek. of course, i don't for one minute believe
his contention that 'jewish greek' as presented in his grammar existed a
real dialect.
for greek in general the advice on smyth is fine, goodwyn is smaller and
sometimes handier.
