<snip>

Linguistics For Students of New Testament Greek: A Survey of Basic
Concepts
and Applications, by David Alan Black, second edition (1995), Baker
Books.

The last chapter (pages 170-198) deals with discourse analysis (also
known
as text linguistics, a term which Dr. Black also uses).

The book is currently out of print, but I would guess it will be
re-issued
due to its popularity.
